Welcome to Woburn Country Foods, quality retail and catering butchers based near Bedford and in Milton Keynes.
We specialise in Bedfordshire meat from Bedfordshire farmers including Woburn Venison.
We are thrilled to announce that Harriet Clutsom has been awarded Butchers Apprentice of the year which was presented by HRH Princess Royal at the Butchers Hall in London. Congratulations Harriet from everyone at Woburn Country Foods, it is fully deserved.

At Woburn Country Foods Butchers, we specialise in local meat from our Bedfordshire Farmers’ Producer Group. This not only means that we can supply our customers with top quality produce, but can also maintain high standards of animal welfare and traceability. All our products are handmade so we can guarantee that all beef products contain 100% beef, all pork 100% pork, all venison 100% venison and so on, across our range! We have reduced Food Miles, the journey the meat takes from farm to plate, which helps the environment and puts money back into the local community. Our friendly and knowledgeable butchers are happy to help you with what cuts to buy, how to prepare and cook the meat, and what’s in season right now. We are proud to be a family owned and run business and hope to see you in one of our stores soon.

Our Farm Shop at Haynes West End sells a full range of local meats
from our 15 Producer group Local Farmers, all cut to your specification by our butchers.
We also have a great range of fresh fruit and veg, hand made pies, cheese and milk, fresh bread,
free range eggs, homemade cakes, local honey, jam and chutneys,
cooking sauces, sweets and biscuits and more!
At Frosts Food Hall, Frosts Garden Centre, Woburn Sands
we have a fully manned butchers counter open Tuesday to Sunday
providing our same great local meats.
Our Butchers Dave, Terry and Tye are on hand to meet all of your meat needs!

We, the Davies Family, have been livestock farmers for 80 years at our family farm in Haynes Bedfordshire. We set up Woburn Country Foods in 2001 selling our meat to the retail and catering trade. Woburn Country Foods now has a Producer Group of 15 Bedfordshire Farmers, who supply only the best of their Bedfordshire meat to our 2 retail outlets, farmers markets and catering customers. We believe that high standards of animal welfare and traditional meat hanging and cutting methods, combine to create meat with the best eating quality. Procuring meat from our local area also reduces food miles and supports our local economy.
